Christie Architecture Ltd was formed in 2008 by Fiona Christie, a New Zealand Registered Architect. Ewan MacMaster joined as a Director in 2016 bringing with him a wide range of experience and skills across a variety of project scales. Fiona and Ewan both have 25+ years of architectural experience which is considerately and diligently drawn from, and developed upon within every project.  

 

As a practice, Christie Architecture aspires to create spaces that are architecturally rich, using natural materials which respond to site and environment to create places that add to their surroundings and are a joy for people to be in and use on a daily basis, whether it be a small kitchen extension or large scale public new build.

 

Strong design and technical skills are combined into design solutions to meet the individual needs of our clients. We work across a wide variety of project types and across various locations in New Zealand, with a focus on environmentally sustainable design.
