A new contemporary addition to complement an existing home included a new Studio, Mater Bedroom and Ensuite. The carefully reconfigured existing 1950s home provided seamless connection between new and existing spaces, whilst opening out to the well-established garden and views towards Kapiti Island.  The addition was designed to visually complement yet hold its own in relation to the existing house, the with dramatic eaves and stained black vertical timber cladding it floats above the garden.
